Gardening Gone Wild – Down on Your Knees Photo Contest

The August photo contest from Gardening Gone Wild left me with something to think about – how a change in perspective changes the way we see and feel about things we see every day.  This month, photographer and contest judge David Perry has challenged gardeners and photographers to “get down on your knees and show us something we haven’t seen in quite the same way before.”  I’m not a photographer and my little camera doesn’t do this picture justice, but I did have fun crawling around in the dirt looking for the unusual and unexpected.  In the end, I came across this Clematis ‘Duchess of Albany’ that seems to be sneezing on a seed head from a flower that bloomed last month.
